Our good friends A&A came by for diner with their daughter last night. On their way out, they mentioned having to make a stop at McDonald’s to find the remaining Charlie Brown figures they needed from McDonalds’ recent “The Peanuts Movie” promotion.  I inquired a bit more and thought the figures were pretty interesting.  Here’s what they look like:

There’s 12 in total and I think they’re around $2each.  Inspired by A&A, on my way home from swimming this morning, we stopped by McDonald’s to see what they had.  They had Number 7, 8 and 9 so I picked up two of each (one set for the kids to play, one set to keep on ice).  I stopped by another McDonald’s right after but they also only had 7, 8 and 9.  I radio’d in the folks to check up north and they picked up 4, 5 and 6.  We’re halfway there in a few short hours. It’s pretty fun, but it’s also crazy how quickly it can become an obsession.  Here’s what number 7, 8 and 9 look like.
