Story:  No real story here.  These were really just eBay purchases over the early years of my collecting days.  I believe there’s nine variant colour schemes of this figure and it was one if Michael Lau’s early designs.  In one of our first homes, we had a long hallway corridor.  I had five five acrylic boxes mounted all along the hallway and my goal was to have five variants displayed in each of the boxes.  I only made it to three of the four.  There’s also a gold version, a Kiss series (set of four) and a skin tone colour version I was missing.

Michael was first asked to pursue his figure work by his professional musician friend Jan Lam. Michael would sell Lam Dog figures at his concerts.  He then created figures in human form of Jan Lam.  Both the Lamdog and Jan Lam figures had the same angry expression (and snaggletooth). Michael’s work became wildly popular thanks to the figures he made for his friend Lam.
